On the occasion, the NCPBM, under the leadership of its President, H.E Peter MAFANY MUSONGE, gave the population the opportunity to understand the new law on the promotion of official languages in Cameroon in a presentation done by the Secretary General, Dr CHI ASAFOR Cornelius.
Opening their work on the 02 November, 2020, the town hall was full to capacity, with of course the respect of barrier measures for Covid-19. In the presence of governor Jean ABATE EDI’I, the population from all walks of life followed up presentations on the above themes from the SG/NCPBM, Dr. CHI ASAFOR Cornelius, the Vice President, Mr. OUMAROU DJIKA SAIDOU, Dr. NGAMBO FONDJO Pierre Vincent and Pr.Abbe Jean Marie BODO.
The audience between H.E Peter MAFANY MUSONGE of the NCPBM and H.E Armando KOTE ECHUACA of Equatorial Guinea held behind closed doors at the head office of the NCPBM.
The NCPBM organised an ownership seminar on the law, for a better understanding of the legal instrument by its members, who will in turn raise public awareness on its merits.
The Members and staff of the Commission converged on the courtyard of the NCPBM headquarters in Yaoundé on 16 January 2020 to wish the President, Peter MAFANY MOUSONGE, a happy and prosperous New Year, 2020.
It is one of the priorities set aside by the NCPBM during its first biannual session which also witnessed the validation of the 2020 Budget.
This evaluation and groundwork for the future was made during the second biannual session of the Commission which took place at its headquarters in Yaoundé on the 17th of December 2019.
A two-day workshop to this effect took place on the 8th and 9th of August 2019 at the headquarters of the Commission in Yaoundé.
Friday June 14th 2019, the premises of the NCPBM played host to two high profile Delegations.
Recommendations to ensure the proper implementation of the paper were gathered on the occasion
