NCPBM members examine 2021 budget and personnel file

This was during the first biannual session of the Commission that held in Yaoundé on the 21st January 2021.

Presiding at the session which held at the Yaoundé Conference Centre, the President of the Commission, H.E. Peter MAFANY MUSONGE started by heartily welcoming the members and wishing them a happy New Year.

There were two point on the agenda of the day: The examination and adoption of the 2021 budget and the personnel file.

Concerning the budget of the institution, it was noted that it stood at 2 980 million of which 2 380 million will be used as running budget and 600 million for investments. On the personnel file the President of the Commission indicated that he and the Secretary General were ready to address all the preoccupations that the members might raise.

Questioned by reporters on the priorities of the NCPBM for 2021, H.E Peter MAFANY MUSONGE said there are programmes on bilingualism, multiculturalism and living together that cover the national territory, which the NCPBM has to execute. He added that there is also a plan of action for 2021 that was put in place during the second biannual session in 2020 that also has to be carried out.
